While Nissan Philippines provided the subject of many action photos and videos during the drive, Mother Nature added its eye-candy of a backdrop — the majestic Mayon Volcano. With its near-perfect cone and an elevation topping 2,400 meters, the still-active volcano dominates the Albay landscape.
NPI kept the excitement up even when the participants were outside the SUV, as they also went on a 20-km ride on all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) that took them on an offroad trail traversing old lava flows to the foot of the volcano, right at the edge of the permanent danger zone.
In a similar fashion, the Terra brings Nissan right to the front edge of the heated battle in the mid-size SUV category in the Philippines.
The Terra, particularly its 4×4 variant, gives justice to its “Go Anywhere” brand character with its 4WD-differential lock system, coupled with the hill descent control and hill start assist features, giving drivers more control of the wheels in the offroads.
With Terra, one can go anywhere, and then get back to home base safely as the reinforced chassis, five-link coil spring rear suspension system, and rigid rear-wheel axle work together to ensure strength, durability, comfort, and convenience.
