Chevrolet PH reveals new business strategy; P2-million discounts offered

Chevrolet Philippines convened its dealer business conference at the Auto Resources Center in Calamba, Laguna, last Jan. 9. The conference was led by recently appointed president and CEO Maria Fe Perez Agudo, who launched a comprehensive “Rework” strategy to lay the groundwork for the transformation of the Chevrolet business in the Philippines.

Agudo has been known for her aggressive leadership and pioneering role in the automotive industry, particularly with the Hyundai and Changan brands.

Board chair Ambassador Jose L. Cuisia Jr formally launched the proceedings, followed by an in-depth presentation from Agudo, who outlined the strategic direction for the company. Richard L. Lee, chair emeritus, also attended the event.

The conference highlights Chevrolet Philippines’ commitment to enhancing the core aspects of its business and advancing its dealership and customer service operations. “First thing on our agenda is to strengthen our bonds with loyal customers and to broaden our market scope, recognizing and acting upon the diverse demands for quality and service of our growing customer base,” Agudo declared.

In her closing remarks, she said, “Chevrolet Philippines stands on the brink of transformative progress. We assure our customers of products of exceptional quality that will foster customer loyalty, and of offers that mirror their true value. We are proud to support this with a network of service-oriented professionals, all contributing to our customers’ enriched Chevrolet experience.”

Up to P2 million discount

As a start to this new, strategic direction for Chevrolet, the brand has announced its “Own the Roads” sales promo that offers substantial cash discounts, low down payment schemes, and amortization packages to all its vehicle models.

This limited-time offer is accessible to all customers opting for Chevrolet’s passenger vehicles, including the Tracker, Trailblazer, Trax, Camaro, Tahoe, and Suburban, from Feb. 1 to March 15, 2024.

The biggest price slashes are offered to buyers of the iconic muscle car Camaro, which has a discount of P1 million, and the top-of-the-line SUVs Tahoe and Suburban, which come with a whopping P2-million discount each.

On the other hand, Chevrolet extends six-figure discounts to cash buyers of its new-generation crossover and mid-size SUVs. The sub-compact crossover Tracker is discounted at up to P140,000. The Trailblazer, refreshed for the new generation, and the sporty compact SUV Trax are discounted for up to P160,000.

In addition to these cash discounts, Chevrolet introduces a comprehensive financing package tailored for its new generation of compact crossovers. Customers are offered the flexibility to choose between a 20% low down payment scheme, with the Tracker at 19,616.56 (LS), Trailblazer at 49,366.56 (LT CVT), and Trax at 72,366.56 (LT).

For those who opt for a 50% down payment, a low monthly amortization package becomes available. The net monthly amortization for the Tracker is 11,729.59 (LS), the Trailblazer is 15,024.17 (LT CVT), and the Trax is 18,030.32 (LT). These inclusive deals provide prospective buyers with a range of financing options, ensuring a more flexible payment scheme that aligns with their preferences.

Beyond these offers, Chevrolet includes an all-inclusive package complete with a one-year comprehensive motorcar insurance, three-year LTO registration, chattel mortgage, and additional standard freebies such as tint, floor mats, and seat covers.

Customers can know more about these discounts and financing programs at Chevrolet Philippines’ mall events on the following dates and SM malls: Mall of Asia (Feb. 8 to 11); Megamall (Feb. 15 to 21); North EDSA (Feb. 26 to March 3); Fairview (March 4 to 10), and; Calamba (March 19 to 25).
