Dongfeng Motors Philippines (DFM) has just recently opened its largest and newest flagship showroom in Tarlac City. Strategically located along MacArthur Highway in Barangay Salapungan, Villa Soliman, this nearly 2,000-sqm facility reflects Dongfeng’s growing prominence in the Philippine market.
Among the driving forces behind this new milestone is Dreamcar Unlimited Automotive Corp, one of the consortium partners of the Dongfeng brand in the Philippines. Owned and led by Drs. Jun and Juanita Chua, alongside their son, Dreamcar Unlimited is a testament to the Chua family’s trust and confidence in Dongfeng’s quality, design, and reliability. This belief inspired them to branch out from their established medical practice and serve northern Luzon in a new way—through the growing automotive industry.
“Today marks a significant milestone as this dealership officially stands as Dongfeng Motors’ flagship showroom in the Philippines,” said Wilbert Lim, president and CEO of Legado Motors Inc, the distributor of Dongfeng Motors in the country.
DFM managing director Atty. Albert Arcilla added: “We are a growing brand and a challenger in the industry.”
The Tarlac showroom aims to offer a seamless car-buying experience, featuring an extensive display of Dongfeng’s reliable and innovative vehicles.
The event was attended by the Lim family from Legado Motors Inc, including Wilbert A. Lim, Brennan S. Lim, and Gianela S. Lim. They were joined by Giovanni Frias, Legado Motors VP for operations. Representing the DFM management group were Arcilla, along with sales director Leah Avante and director for dealer development Victor Delarmente. Members of the Chua family, loyal patrons, and bank partners were also present.
Since Dongfeng Motors entered the Philippine market in 2023, this collaboration has been instrumental in establishing the brand as a formidable player nationwide. Legado Motors serves as the distributor, while Dreamcar Unlimited acts as a co-distributor and dealership partner.
