Green SM has broadened its 4-wheeled electrified portfolio in Indonesia with the official debut of Green Limo, an executive 6-seat electric taxi service powered exclusively by the spacious Limo Green MPV. The service marks Green SM’s third 4-wheel category in the market—joining Green Car and Green Premium—catering to corporate executives, airport shuttles, traveling families, and larger groups needing extra luggage volume.
From Sept. 19 to 29, Green SM is completing the deployment of an initial batch of 500 Limo Green units at the Green SM Kemayoran Depot in Jakarta, handing over the keys to pioneer drivers while hosting on-site consultations, fleet test drives, and partner enrollments.
Green SM Global CEO Pham Nhat Minh Hoang said: “Green Limo not only adds a new model to Green SM’s fleet, but also offers a suitable option for journeys where space and comfort are priorities. Alongside the Green Limo service, the new vehicle rental program with flexible options gives driver partners an easier way to earn stable income with modern, cost-efficient VinFast electric vehicles. We expect the combination of suitable products, practical policies, and Green SM’s 5-star service standards to deliver meaningful value to both driver partners and customers, thereby helping raise the standard of transportation services in Indonesia.”
‘3 Nos’ packaging
Built to deliver premium ride-hailing standards, the Limo Green 3-row MPV embodies the signature EV advantages of the ‘3 Nos’: Zero tailpipe emissions; Zero lingering fuel odors; and Zero engine noise and vibration.
The cabin is outfitted with dedicated rear air conditioning vents for both the second and third rows, an integrated air filtration and deodorizing system to preserve interior freshness, multi-format smartphone fast-charging cables, and compliant passenger safety architecture.
To introduce the service to passengers, Green SM is running a launch promotion from Sept. 19 through Oct. 3, offering first-time Green Limo riders a 20% discount (up to IDR 50,000) on their booking fare.
New driver program
Alongside the fleet debut, Green SM rolled out a dedicated vehicle rental and operator program in Jakarta designed to lower the barrier to entry for commercial drivers:
Low capital entry: Drivers can begin operating with an initial down payment starting at IDR 2 million, with daily rental rates from IDR 254,000. Fleet choices include the Limo Green, VF e34 / Nerio Green, VF 5 / Herio Green, and the VF 6.
Income and revenue split: Qualified partners receive a revenue-sharing model of up to 92%, with potential earnings reaching IDR 14 million per month. To cushion new drivers, Green SM provides guaranteed daily gross earnings of up to IDR 400,000 for the first two months.
Driver performance bonuses: Operators can unlock monthly bonuses including an IDR 1,000,000 sign-up bonus, an IDR 676,000 brand consistency bonus, and up to IDR 1,340,000 in operational incentives.
Free V-Green charging: Rental partners receive complimentary charging access across the V-Green network, virtually eliminating running fuel costs.
Globally, Green SM has surpassed 850 million completed passenger trips over nearly 6 billion km, offsetting more than 800,000 metric tons of CO₂ emissions. The Indonesian expansion serves as an operating benchmark across Southeast Asia as pure-electric ride-hailing networks scale up fleet operations.
