Honda ensures top aftersales services via skills contest

Honda Cars Philippines Inc (HCPI) recently held the 2025 National Skills Contest (NSC) wherein top dealer technicians and service advisors across all 38 dealerships competed under various categories.

The NSC took place at the recently inaugurated training center of the HCPI Sta. Rosa office. This competition was spearheaded by the car brand for dealer technicians and service advisors, where the top three in each category were determined and awarded.

The NSC is HCPI’s way of ensuring that all aftersales associates at different dealerships are providing quality and efficient services to customers. This guarantees that all associates are adhering to Honda Cars standards for vehicle maintenance, repair, and customer service. At the same time, the brand recognizes and rewards associates who show passion and exceptional mastery of their craft.

Since HCPI’s establishment, 23 NSCs have been held. In every staging, contestants undergo an elimination round that tests both knowledge and skill based on their categories.

The categories are:

1. General repair—using advanced service and diagnostics to “Fix Right the First Time;”

2. Quick pair—performing speedy and quality periodic maintenance;

3. Service advisor—one-to-one customer accommodation for increased service value and customer convenience;

4. Paint repair—ensuring an efficient process and high-quality repair through the use of water-based paint;

5. Body repair—maintaining high-standard compliance of trained technicians to Honda body repair standard process

Below are the winners of this year’s NSC. The service advisor and general repair category winners will compete in the Asia Oceania Skills Contest this September 2025 and the World Skills Contest in March 2027. All winners were treated by HCPI to a trip to Taiwan.
