Isuzu Traviz rescue vehicles delivered to Mindoro

On July 27, Isuzu Philippines Corp (IPC), maker of the country’s number one truck brand, turned over 16 units of the Traviz rescue vehicle to the 2nd District of Oriental Mindoro.

In a formal ceremony, the Isuzu Calapan dealership handed the units to Congressman Alfonso Umali Jr, Representative of the 2nd District of Oriental Mindoro, Board Member Jean Paulo Umali, Pinamalayan Mayor Aristeo Baldos, and Mansalay Mayor Ferdinand Maliwanag.

In IPC president Tetsuya Fujita’s message, he expressed IPC’s gratitude to the province for its continued trust on Isuzu vehicles. “It is our honor to be part of this program to assist in helping our Kababayans here in Mindoro especially during this rainy season, when there are a lot of typhoons.”

IPC had previously delivered Traviz rescue vehicles to the local government, and are now being used in different barangays in the area. The recent delivery will also become part of the local government’s continuous campaign to modernize and strengthen its rescue efforts, and will be distributed to 136 barangays in the province.

Umali also shared why his district continues to choose Isuzu trucks: “We trust the Traviz due to its mobility, reliability, and durability.”

Aside from providing durable and reliable trucks, IPC reiterated its Isuzu Advantage of providing excellent aftersales service to its customers nationwide via its strong dealer network and nationwide parts availability. On top of that, the company also offers free safety and eco-drive training, on-site servicing through Isuzu Mobile Medic, and fleet servicing and assessment conducted by its expert service technicians and Japanese truck engineers.
