KTM, Husqvarna unveil new motorbikes

KTM Philippines and Husqvarna introduced their latest upgrades and models at a press launch last Feb. 25, marking a new era of performance and innovation in the country’s motorcycle industry. The event showcased the much-anticipated KTM 390 Duke, Husqvarna 401 Svartpilen, and Husqvarna 401 Vitpilen—all highlighting cutting-edge technology, superior design, and an enhanced riding experience.

The event gathered key industry leaders, media representatives, influencers, and motorcycle enthusiasts. It marked a new era for the brands under the exclusive distribution of Lucky MAPI.

Leading high-performance brands

KTM and Husqvarna have established themselves as leading brands in the global and Philippine motorcycle markets, renowned for their high-performance bikes built for adventure and urban mobility. The latest models unveiled are designed to set new standards in style, power, and handling, reinforcing the brands’ commitment to delivering an unparalleled riding experience.

Lucky MAPI chief operating officer Martin Madrid introduced KTM and Husqvarna under their new distribution. He emphasized the company’s commitment to delivering premium motorcycles and enhancing customer experiences in the Philippines.

Features and upgrades

The KTM 390 Duke showcases an aggressive design, a powerful 399cc engine, updated suspension, and advanced ride-by-wire technology. It now features a refined cornering ABS, upgraded quickshifter, and a new TFT display for enhanced rider control.

The Husqvarna 401 Svartpilen blends minimalist aesthetics with rugged performance, ideal for urban and off-road adventures. It also provides improved ergonomics and comfort, an updated suspension system, and enhanced LED lighting for better visibility.

The Husqvarna 401 Vitpilen is a café racer-inspired model that combines sleek Scandinavian design with a dynamic riding position for optimal road performance. It has a sleek new design update, improved power delivery, and a more responsive ride-by-wire throttle system.

All three models are available at a market price of P309,000 each.

Upcoming activities

KTM Philippines also announced its upcoming activities, including racing events, community rides, and new dealerships to bring the brand closer to enthusiasts nationwide.
