Mitsubishi Motors PH donates vehicles to 3 schools

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corp (MMPC) reiterated its commitment to education and skills development by donating 3 vehicles—one Mirage G4 GLX M/T and two L300 M/T units — to 3 academic institutions: Laguna State Polytechnic University (LSPU)-Siniloan campus, Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU)-Balanga campus, and Eulogio “Amang” Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology (Earist)-GMA campus.

The donation ceremony, held at the MMPC Sta. Rosa Plant, was attended by MMPC’s chair Noriaki Hirakata and president and chief executive officer Ritsu Imaeda, along with university leaders Dr. Mario Briones (LSPU), Dr. Rowena Valerio (BPSU), and Dr. Rogelio Mamaradlo (Earist). Deans, faculty members, and automotive technology students from the 3 institutions were also present to witness the momentous turnover ceremony.

The donated vehicles will be utilized for hands-on training in automotive technology programs, equipping students with real-world experience in vehicle diagnostics, repair, and maintenance. This initiative aligns with Mitsubishi Motors’ global philosophy, “Drive Your Ambition,” which represents the company’s dedication to empowering individuals and communities to achieve their goals through innovation and collaboration.

This donation is part of MMPC’s continuous efforts to support education and workforce development in the Philippines. By strengthening partnerships with educational institutions, MMPC aims to contribute to the growth of the automotive industry and create more opportunities for aspiring professionals.
