The streets of Bonifacio Global City were energized as Tamang Ride PH recently held its grand launch—a full-day event that convened road safety advocates from across sectors to champion one common cause: Creating safer roads for all Filipinos, especially children.
Tamang Ride PH is a road safety advocacy movement organized under the initiative of A Child’s Trust is Ours to Nurture (Action) Inc. The Tamang Ride movement will create a comprehensive platform for customers’ voices about road safety and will encourage awareness of road safety through their active involvement. This partnership aims to promote road safety, focusing on safe driving/riding for children and beginners.

Attended by hundreds of road safety allies from businesses and community groups, families, and the general public, the event was structured into three integral segments: A formal morning launch, an interactive afternoon showcase, and an evening community celebration. Together, these activities marked the official public introduction of the Tamang Ride PH campaign and its core pillars: Stakeholder collaboration; road safety education; and innovation through technology.
The day commenced with a ceremonial launch hosted by Danisse Tuazon and Daryl Jade Abaya, setting the tone for a day rooted in awareness and advocacy. The morning featured key moments including:
o A comprehensive Tamang Ride PH Orientation and the unveiling of the Tamang Ride PH Mobile App Prototype, presented by Action Inc founder and president Hajime Yokota;
o The official launch of the Tamang Ride PH Road Safety Modules for Children and Youth, presented by Action Inc executive director Lani Bayron-Llanes.
Messages of solidarity and endorsement were delivered by the following partners and stakeholders: Minister for Economic Affairs, Embassy of Japan in the Philippines Yokota Naobumi; Honda Philippines Inc president Takeshi Kobayashi; Yamaha Motor Philippines Inc sales and marketing director Shinsuke Iida; Toyota Motor Philippines Corp marketing services department assistant vice president Andrew Ryan Ty; Top Gear Philippines chief executive officer Carlo Chungunco; Wellbin Group Co Ltd chairman Tamaki Yoshinori; Philippine Red Cross Secretary General Dr. Gwendolyn T. Pang; and Mitsukoshi BGC general manager Yoji Kawaguchi.

Tamang Ride PH’s grand launch showcased the strength of multi-sectoral partnerships and the power of community-driven action. As the campaign accelerates into its next phase, it continues to invite more individuals and organizations to take part in shaping a safer and more responsible road culture across the Philippines.
