Save 30% when you buy brand new Nissan Leaf

Nissan Philippines recently announced an approximately 30% price reduction for the new Nissan Leaf, in accordance with Executive Order No.12 issued by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr dated January 13, 2023.

EO 12 temporarily reduces import duties on electric vehicles (EVs), parts, and components for five years. The new Nissan Leaf is now available at a retail price of P1,998,000, down from its original price of P2,798,000. The new retail price has been in effect since April 21.

First launched in the Philippines in 2021, the Leaf is Nissan’s first mass-produced EV, pioneering the way to sustainable mobility for all.

“Nissan continues to make electrified mobility more accessible to our customers across the country, as a pioneer in the Philippines’ electrification movement. We welcome this development from the Philippine government as it further accelerates our electrification strategy for the country in line with our ‘Nissan Ambition 2030’, which aims to empower mobility and beyond by providing long-term sustainable solutions,” says Juan Manuel Hoyos, Nissan Philippines president.

As part of its “Ambition 2030” long-term vision, Nissan will work to increase its electrified vehicle product mix in all its markets by the year 2030. The brand will also utilize its electrified vehicle technologies to address issues beyond transportation and sustainable mobility. To support the latter, Nissan Philippines launched last year its Blue Switch initiative which aims to create key partnerships with various organizations to help address social concerns such as disaster response, climate change, responsible travel, and energy management with the use of EV technologies such as Vehicle-to-Anything (V2X) bi-directional charging.

An instant ‘picnic’ using the Nissan Leaf Power Mover

Nissan Philippines recently announced an approximately 30% price reduction for the new Nissan Leaf, in accordance with Executive Order No.12 issued by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr dated January 13, 2023.

First launched in the Philippines in 2021, the Leaf is Nissan’s first mass-produced EV.

The Nissan Leaf full electric vehicle comes with the optional Power Mover, the key mechanism in Nissan’s V2L or Vehicle-to-Load system. The Power Mover allows transferring power from the Leaf to any electrical appliance. The Power Mover was put to the test in the aftermath of supertyphoon Odette in December 2021, when two Nissan Leaf vehicles were used to provide emergency power to stricken families in Cebu and Ormoc cities.

The Nissan Leaf and its V2L are the cornerstones of Nissan Philippines Blue Switch campaign, which highlights Nissan’s goal to form partnerships with various organizations to help address social concerns, such as disaster response, climate change, responsible travel, and energy management using EV technologies.

In the Nissan Leaf, even if you’re in the middle of nowhere, you can just stop and smell the roses and enjoy a little impromptu picnic, with a bit of help from the Power Mover.
