This launch signals a new chapter for Dongfeng Motors PH. In a time when fuel costs are rising, environmental challenges persist, and demand for smart, clean, and affordable mobility grows, the E70 Pro emerges as a timely solution for both public and private transportation.

“Today, we are not just unveiling a new EV,” said Brennan Lim during his opening remarks. “We are opening the doors to a smarter, greener, and more sustainable way of moving forward. The E70 Pro is our contribution to building a future where Filipino cities breathe cleaner air and Filipinos are empowered by reliable, and intelligent mobility.”

The Dongfeng E70 Pro stands out with its impressive range of 420 km on a single charge. It also offers a spacious cabin, comfortable seating, and an overall smooth driving experience ideal for both personal and professional use. The E70 Pro is a globally tested and proven vehicle from Dongfeng, one of the most established automotive brands in Asia. Its battery system has undergone and passed a series of rigorous safety and durability tests, including fire, water immersion, extrusion, and heat dissipation tests.

The E70 Pro has become one of the most trusted electric taxis in China and South America.

P47 in fuel saved every 7 km

From an economic standpoint, the E70 Pro offers significant cost savings. Dongfeng claims that with current fuel prices, drivers can save up to ₱47 for every 6 or 7-km drive, which means that over 100,000 km, savings can reach ₱783,349. Additionally, with lower maintenance requirements, the estimated upkeep over 5 years is just ₱35,000.

The E70 Pro is priced at ₱1,198,000.

The event also introduced TaxiKo EV, a ride-hailing concept based on the E70 Pro platform. Its debut gave guests a glimpse into what may be the future of on-demand transportation in the country. Its sleek look, functionality, and quiet electric operation impressed many attendees and transport operators.

That excitement was backed by real demand. By the end of the event, 65 vehicle reservations were made on the spot, with units delivered to some customers the same day.

With its combination of clean technology, cost efficiency, ride comfort, and reliability, the Dongfeng E70 Pro is poised to transform the way Filipinos move—be it for personal, public, or commercial use.
