Xpress launches ‘Xpress Go’ Program for TNVS drivers

In commemoration of Independence Day, Xpress Super App officially launched Xpress Go, a transport network vehicle service (TNVS) program that charges zero commission to Filipino drivers for their first 60 days on the platform. Developed in coordination with the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB), the initiative provides immediate fuel crisis relief while advancing the long-term electrification of Philippine mobility.
The program responds directly to the national energy emergency declared by Malacañang in March 2026. From June 12 to Aug. 31, 2026, the relief package offers the following terms to a limited pool of 500 driver slots in Metro Manila, with priority given to those operating or financing hybrids and EVs:
o 0% commission: Valid for the first 60 days on the platform.
o 12% permanent rate: Locked in writing from day 61 through Dec. 31, 2026.
o Vehicle branding program: An additional P4,000 per month for carrying the Xpress Go decal.
o Milestone bonuses: Up to P5,000 across the first 60 days based on verified trip volume.
o Refer-a-driver incentive: P1,000 each to the referrer and the new driver upon completion of 100 trips within 30 days.
Under these terms, a driver averaging 10 to 12 trips a day at a P300 fare stands to retain between P18,000 and P21,600 more per month compared to standard 20% commission platforms.
Xpress Super App president Cliff Cabungcal said, “For 128 years, Independence Day has reminded us of what Filipinos are capable of when we shape our own future. Filipinos have always been early to good ideas—innovators and adopters, especially when the right path is also the right thing to do. Electric and hybrid vehicles are that path. But making the shift is hard. We know what that transition costs a driver and we know it can’t fall on them alone.
“Xpress has grown because Filipinos backed us—businesses, drivers, riders. Filipinos support Filipinos. P30 million into Xpress Go is our way of giving back to the people who got us here. After the relief period, our commission is 12% – locked in writing, and one of the lowest sustainable rates from any Filipino-owned ride-hailing platform. Para sa ating mga driver. Para sa bayan.”
Interested TNVS drivers can apply via www.xpress.ph/xpressgo or the Xpress Driver App by presenting a professional driver’s license, NBI clearance, vehicle OR/CR, active LTFRB franchise or Provisional Authority, and proof of insurance. Onboarding is completed within 48 hours.
