Toyota extends eSports GT racing qualifiers to Sept. 28

Aspiring racers still have time to put in their fastest lap time for a chance to live their racing dreams. Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has extended the qualifying period for its sim racing tournament, the Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) Philippines eSports GT Championship 2025, to Sept. 28.

The qualifiers will determine the Top 40 who will go on to compete in the quarterfinals at the Ayala Malls Manila Bay on Oct. 11. The semifinals and national finals will follow the next day (Oct. 12).

Winners will bring home cash prizes, original GR merchandise, and a chance to participate in the TGR Academy. The top 3 winners will also have the honor of representing the Philippines at the TGR eSports GT Championship Asia Finals in Thailand in November.

Interested participants may register at forms.office.com/r/rqhiXM2Bef to schedule their qualifiers. The full list of requirements to be eligible to participate can be found in the form.

Players may do their qualifiers online if they have a PlayStation 4 or 5 with active PSN account and PS PLUS subscription, and a copy of Gran Turismo 7. For those who do not have these requirements, they may do their qualifiers offline at the following Toyota GR performance dealerships:

The following dealerships will open slots for offline qualifiers soon: Toyota San Fernando, Pampanga, and Toyota Batangas City.
