Toyota, Mitsubishi, MG highlights for PIMS starting June 4

The local automotive landscape shifts to high gear as the 10th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) returns to the World Trade Center Metro Manila from June 4 to 7, 2026. This year’s event, themed “Forward in Every Drive,” serves as a crucial junction where heritage meets the high-voltage future of mobility. Whether you are looking for a reliable family workhorse, a rugged weekend explorer, or a glimpse into the next generation of electrified driving, three of the country’s biggest manufacturers—Toyota, Mitsubishi, and MG—are ready to show that the future of Philippine roads is not just about moving from point A to B—it’s about choosing how you get there.

Find your ‘Toyota Choice’

Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is centering its participation on the “Toyota Choice” campaign, emphasizing that there is no “one size fits all” solution to mobility. Its booth will highlight a multi-pathway approach, showcasing everything from efficient internal combustion engines (ICE) and diesel powerhouses to practical hybrids (HEV) and innovative battery electric vehicles (BEV).

Beyond the hardware, Toyota is bringing a massive dose of star power to the show floor. Brand ambassadors and OPM icons Ben&Ben will perform live at the Toyota booth on June 5, from 6 to 7 p.m..

“Toyota has been a core part of our story ever since the beginning of our band. Our first band car was a Toyota borrowed from the twins’ family, and we made everyone fit in there along with all our gear,” shared the band. “Nine years of countless shows and travels later, we’re happy to still be choosing Toyota. Through all the journeys we have taken and the memories that came with them, Toyota has been our ride.”

Visitors can also explore T-OPT, Toyota’s affordable parts brand, and the Gazoo Racing (GR) booth featuring a modified GR Supra and GR Corolla.

“The Philippine International Motor Show has always been a great platform for Toyota to showcase our latest and future offerings,” said TMP first vice president of vehicle sales operations Elijah Marcial. “Toyota is dedicated to ensuring our customers’ choice leads to a smooth ownership experience, and one that gives them a dedicated peace of mind.”

Mitsubishi Motors: A ‘Premium Adventure’

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corp (MMPC) is bringing the spirit of exploration to the city with its “Premium Adventure” theme. Evolving from the “Forever Adventure” concept seen at the 2025 Japan Mobility Show, the Mitsubishi booth is designed to reflect the brand’s adventurous DNA while focusing on next-generation mobility.

The big news for Mitsubishi fans is the confirmed unveiling of an all-new electrified model, signaling a major step toward sustainable mobility for the Philippine market. In addition to the new reveal, MMPC will host daily interactive programs and performances from influencers throughout the 4-day event.

MG Philippines: Next wave continues

Fresh off its momentum from earlier this year, MG Motor Philippines is riding into PIMS with the theme “The Next Wave Continues.” The MG Pavilion will serve as a showcase for the brand’s expanding Hybrid+ and new energy vehicle (NEV) range.

MG is set to reveal new electrified vehicles and advanced technologies designed specifically for the modern Filipino driver who prioritizes connectivity and efficiency.

“The Next Wave Continues represents MG’s ongoing journey toward the future of mobility,” said MG Motor Philippines president Wei Wei Zhang. “As we continue to expand our electrified lineup and introduce more advanced technologies, our goal remains clear: to provide Filipino customers with innovative, accessible, and globally competitive mobility solutions that move with the times and evolve with their needs.”
