Turbocharged, connected: The Mitsubishi Destinator unveiled

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corp. (MMPC) officially introduces the All-New Mitsubishi Destinator, a 7-seater SUV that combines a turbocharged powertrain with best-in-class ground clearance and first-in-segment connectivity features.

Performance and rally DNA

At the heart of the Destinator is the newly developed 1.5L 4B40 turbocharged engine. Tuned for both efficiency and power, it delivers a maximum output of 163 PS and 250 Nm of torque. This powertrain is paired with a high-riding chassis featuring a best-in-class 214 mm ground clearance, ensuring capability over varied terrain.

Drawing from the brand’s rally heritage—specifically the Lancer Evolution—the Destinator features five selectable Drive Modes: Normal, wet, gravel, mud, and the new Tarmac Mode. This system optimizes stability and handling control across different road conditions.
