Culture, hoops, and adaptability: Toyota PH in action

Toyota Motor Philippines has leveraged internal combustion reliability and modular utility to drive regional music initiatives, celebrate international sporting diplomacy, and empower micro-enterprises across the country.

Ben&Ben joins Toyota Asia’s ‘Move Your World Beat’

Twin brothers Paolo Benjamin and Miguel Benjamin of the acclaimed Filipino indie folk-pop outfit Ben&Ben have taken the regional creative stage as part of Toyota Motor Asia’s “Move Your World Beat” cultural campaign. Developed alongside creative partner Virtue Asia, the initiative challenges prominent musical creators across the region to sample and convert ambient, mechanical Toyota vehicle sounds—from dashboard clicks and engine hums to engineered chimes—into original, contemporary musical works.

As the Philippine delegates, the Benjamin brothers join an international collective of artists including Belle Sisoski (Malaysia), Natasha Noorani (Pakistan), Shye (Singapore), Valentina Ploy (Thailand), and 2pillz (Vietnam). Rolled out via a TikTok-driven creator platform, each contributor produces a dedicated track reflecting their national heritage and distinct sonic profile.

The cross-border initiative will culminate later this year with the debut of a unified regional beat, integrating contributions from all 6 nations into an overarching collaborative soundtrack celebrating Southeast Asian artistic expression and mobility.

Toyota Motor Asia general manager Jaja Ishibashi noted: “At its heart, ‘Move Your World’ is about Toyota’s commitment to the communities in Asia—the freedom to move, and the thrill and joy of moving forward together. With ‘Move Your World Beat,’ we bring that same spirit to music, a universal language that unites our communities and moves us all a little closer. By supporting creators and bringing different voices together, we hope to inspire new forms of expression and show that when we move together, we can create something greater than any one of us could achieve alone.”
