The past few years have seen a steady increase in the number of motorists driving through national roads and highways. And as road travel can be unpredictable—from experiencing car troubles, or worse, accidents, it is essential that every Filipino motorist has someone they can rely on for any kind of emergency.
In line with its vision of road safety and security, Shell Pilipinas Corp has partnered with AACI (Assist and Assistance Concept Inc), the newest business division of MPT Mobility, in providing 24/7 nationwide towing and minor roadside assistance for its Shell Go+ members.
With MPT Mobility’s growing roster of smart mobility solutions and services, AACI is centered on elevating the driving experience of motorists by giving them the safety and security they need to travel wherever they need to be with roadside solutions, travel, and medical assistance.
For Shell Philippines, it has always been part of its vision for its customers to have a better experience on the road and make every journey count. Through the Shell Go+ program, customers can unlock a world of 24/7 exclusive perks and personalized offers.
One of the perks it offers is giving members access to free roadside assistance, which AACI is now its new third-party pursuant.
“Safety has always been a priority shared by Shell with its customers. The free 24/7 roadside assistance service is one of the many Shell Go+ Program benefits that reinforce this commitment. Through our partnership with AACI, our Shell Go+ members can be reassured of worry-free travel through convenient, reliable, and innovative access to emergency roadside assistance solutions,” said Arvin Obmerga, Shell Mobility Philippines marketing manager.
This new partnership will provide Shell Go+ members round-the-clock emergency hotlines manned by highly trained technical coordinators, allowing Shell Go+ members access to hassle-free roadside assistance and minor on-site repairs such as battery boosting, changing of flat tires, and fuel delivery services available nationwide. For towing needs, AACI will also be able to dispatch a tow truck or mechanic and can provide end-to-end monitoring of the case until the vehicle is safely delivered to the service center. AACI will also provide Shell Go+ members crane services for those whose vehicles need to be recovered out of a ditch. Such benefits will be accessible to qualified Shell Go+ members with Class 1 and 2 vehicles, including vans, light-duty reconditioned vehicles, and 4-wheeled cars for hire.
“Combining AACI’s operational expertise and MPT Mobility’s capabilities in enhancing the human experience, our clients will benefit from a holistic mobility ecosystem aimed at improving customer satisfaction,” said AACI head Ronald Carrillo. “MPT Mobility’s vision has always been about revolutionizing the experience of every driving Filipino on the road and road safety and the 24/7 assistance is a vital part of that experience.”
