To accelerate the adoption of zero-emission mobility during the festive year-end car-buying season, GAC Philippines rolled out its latest ownership package under the banner “Power Up the Ber Months.”
Running from Sept. 1 to Dec. 31, 2026, customers who purchase and take delivery of a brand-new GAC AION UT compact hatchback or the GAC AION V electric crossover will receive:
- Complimentary 7-kW home wall charger
- Free 2-year preventive maintenance service (PMS) program
GAC Philippines president Calvin Cheng said: “We are thrilled to introduce this special program to our Filipino customers. We want to make EV ownership as convenient and worry-free as possible for our Filipino customers. Offering a free wall charger and two years of free PMS with the AION UT and AION V is also our way of thanking them for the strong support they have shown for both models.”
Overnight charging
The bundled package directly addresses the two most critical milestones for first-time EV adopters: Establishing dedicated home charging and managing routine servicing costs.
The 7-kW residential wallbox is engineered specifically for the Philippine power grid, the unit draws 32 Amperes safely from standard residential 220V lines. Capable of replenishing a typical 60-kWh traction battery from depleted to 100% capacity in approximately 8 hours, it allows owners to treat charging like plugging in a smartphone overnight. It features a standardized charging gun fully compatible with GAC AION onboard charge ports.
The 2-year free PMS covers all prescribed factory labor and standard replacement parts scheduled under GAC’s recommended preventive service intervals for the first 24 months.
Services must be redeemed exclusively at the authorized service facility of the selling dealer. Vehicle owners must present their official PMS voucher along with the vehicle service booklet during each maintenance visit.
