Four years after introducing self-charging electric-drive mobility to the local crossover segment, Nissan Philippines officially launched the All-New Nissan Kicks e-Power. First previewed at the 10th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS), the second-generation subcompact crossover brings updated styling, upgraded digital connectivity, and Nissan ProPILOT driver-assist technology.
Pure electric motor drive without plug-in charging
The new Kicks e-Power continues to utilize Nissan’s proprietary electrified powertrain, where the driven wheels are powered exclusively by an electric motor.
Output: Generates 136 PS and 280 Nm of instant electric torque.
Onboard generation: A 1.2-liter three-cylinder gasoline engine functions solely as an onboard generator to charge the lithium-ion battery buffer.
Fuel habit familiarity: Drivers experience instant torque and silent electric acceleration while refueling normally with standard gasoline at local fuel stations.
Redesigned aesthetics, enhanced interior utility
The exterior receives a bolder interpretation of Nissan’s V-Motion aesthetic, highlighted by triple-arrow daytime running lights (DRLs), longer-range headlights, and hexagon-shaped LED rear taillights.
Inside, passenger ergonomics and cabin tech receive key refinements:
Seating comfort: Equipped with Zero Gravity front seats, heat-reducing upholstery, and a 6-way power-adjustable driver’s seat. Rear passengers benefit from an optimized seatback angle and a center armrest.
Digital connectivity: Centered around a 12.3-inch display audio interface with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, accompanied by a 3-year subscription to NissanConnect Services.
Interior schemes: Classic black interior on VE and VL trims, with an exclusive two-tone Moonstone cabin available on the flagship LE Plus.
Nissan ProPilot and advanced safety tech
A major upgrade for the generation is the integration of Nissan ProPilot, introducing highway and traffic assist systems including intelligent lane keep assist (LKA), intelligent cruise control (ICC), and traffic jam assist with full stop-and-go capability.
Additional driver-assist and safety features include:
o Intelligent around view monitor with moving object detection (IAVM + MOD)
o Intelligent forward emergency braking with pedestrian detection (IFEB)
o Blind spot warning with blind spot intervention (BSW + BSI)
o Lane departure warning and prevention (LDW + LDP)
o Rear automatic emergency braking (RAEB) and rear cross traffic alert (RCTA)
o Leading car departure notification (LCDN) and driver attention alert (DAA)

The new Nissan Kicks e-Power is available in four colors: Aquamarine Metallic, Gun Metallic, Pearl White, and Moon Pearl Gray (with an optional two-tone Black Roof for the LE Plus).
