Geely Motor PH breaches 1,000-unit monthly mark in September

Geely Motor Philippines (GMP) recorded an all-time operational high in September 2026, delivering 1,023 vehicles in a single calendar month. The performance marks the first time GMP has breached the 4-figure sales threshold since transitioning into a direct subsidiary of Geely Auto International.
The milestone was driven by consumer demand for electrified powertrains, which accounted for nearly 80% of the month’s total volume. The all-electric Geely EX2 paced deliveries with 470 units, while the Geely EX5 EM-i Super Hybrid added 345.

GMP credited this sales momentum to its nationwide dealer network, spotlighting the high retail outputs delivered by the MG Gateway Group, ANC+ Group of Companies, and D&J Auto.
Looking toward the 4th quarter, GMP plans to introduce the Geely Monjaro EM-i, its flagship Super Hybrid SUV, alongside the strategic operational integration of Lynk & Co under the GMP corporate umbrella to expand into the premium lifestyle vehicle segment.
VinFast inaugurates 36th PH dealership

Expanding its retail footprint in southern Metro Manila, VinFast officially opened VinFast Pasay, marking the Vietnamese EV manufacturer’s 36th dealership in the Philippines.
Developed in partnership with Ravox Car Dealership Corp (a member of LT Prime Holdings), the facility is situated at the NAIA transit gateway along Macapagal Boulevard.
Built as an integrated 1S+ facility spanning approximately 680 sqm (featuring a 270-sqm dedicated showroom floor), VinFast Pasay combines new-energy vehicle sales displays with complete aftersales support, on-site charging stations, factory-certified maintenance bays, and an inventory of genuine spare parts.
VinFast Southeast Asia chief executive officer Antonio “Toti” Zara III said: “The opening of the new dealership further reaffirms VinFast’s commitment to the Philippine market. We have always envisioned each dealership as more than just a place to display and sell vehicles, but also as a direct connection between customers and the VinFast ecosystem. Our presence in Pasay City will make it easier for people in the area to access green mobility solutions, while experiencing firsthand EV ownership policies and models designed to meet their everyday needs.”
Ravox Car Dealership president Jerome Uy added: “Ravox is proud to be part of the growing VinFast presence in the nation, helping to accelerate EV adoption in the Philippines. We are especially excited to integrate into the comprehensive VinFast ecosystem. Through this strategic 270-sqm Macapagal dealership, our goal is to help Filipinos understand that transitioning to electric mobility is about being supported by a reliable, end-to-end system—complete with on-site charging, availability of genuine spare parts, and warranty support—rather than just buying a car.”

Operating Monday to Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., VinFast Pasay anchors an aggressive rollout pipeline, with upcoming locations slated for Baliwag, Fairview, Quezon Avenue, Cagayan de Oro, Camarines Sur, San Fernando, and Iloilo.

Menorian Movers’ surplus fleet acquires Isuzu tractor heads

Isuzu Philippines Corp (IPC), in coordination with its dealer partner Isuzu Bacoor—owned and operated by Iconic Dealership Inc (IDI) under ACMobility—strengthened the logistics fleet of Menorian Movers Inc with the official turnover of 4 brand-new heavy-duty tractor heads.
The delivery comprises 3 Isuzu EXR77H units and one Isuzu EXZ77N, acquired to replace older surplus units within Menorian’s active 41-vehicle fleet. Established in 2001 under the Menorian Group of Companies, the logistics provider offers full container load (FCL) and less-than-container load (LCL) trailer-hauling services nationwide.
Heavy-duty specs and support
Powertrain: Both models run the 6UZ1-TCG50 heavy-duty diesel engine, producing 279 kW (380 PS) at 2,000 rpm and a flat torque curve of 1,765 Nm from 1,200 to 1,500 rpm, delivering the low-end tractive force required for loaded container trailers.
Hauling capacities: The 4×2 EXR77H provides a gross combination mass (GCM) of 45,000 kg, while the heavy 6×4 EXZ77N handles up to 60,000 kg GCM.
Driver safety: Factory standard anti-lock braking system (ABS) and multi-information instrument displays provide real-time mechanical readouts.
Aftersales backing: Menorian transitions from surplus maintenance risks to comprehensive dealer parts availability and factory maintenance via Isuzu Bacoor and IPC’s national service network.
IPC department head for dealer sales Mario Ojales said: “Isuzu has been a reliable partner of logistics companies through the years, and we understand the heavy-duty demands of their operations. Businesses that regularly handle demanding hauling requirements need commercial vehicles with the power and capability to take on the job reliably. We are confident that the Isuzu EXR77H and EXZ77N will help Menorian Movers strengthen its hauling capabilities and continue delivering the dependable service its customers expect.”
Menorian Movers president Marilou Menor stated: “For me, these 4 new trucks are more than just additional assets for our company. They represent growth, trust, opportunity, and our commitment to serving our valued clients. We are happy that Isuzu is part of our journey, and we look forward to continuing to move forward together.”
IDI Isuzu brand head Eric Wambangco added: “As long as Menorian is using the trucks, we should be beside them. We look forward to being a partner for a long time.”

Green GSM widens Mindanao coverage; Green SM tests Amsterdam

The global electric mobility platform founded by VinFast has widened its footprint on two fronts: deploying all-electric taxi services across regional urban hubs in the Philippines under Green GSM, while simultaneously launching pilot operations in Europe under Green SM.
Following a trial phase launched in late August, Green GSM officially initiated commercial operations across northern Mindanao on Sept. 29. The zero-emission fleet now services passenger corridors across El Salvador, Cagayan de Oro, Laguindingan (including airport transfers), Alubijid, and Opol.
Passengers can book rides via the Green GSM mobile app, call customer service hotlines, or directly street-hail available VinFast electric units. Operating under its corporate “5 Green Promises” (good cars, good drivers, good prices, good experiences, good for the environment), the fleet provides transparent meter fares, professional driver standards, and zero tailpipe emissions. To celebrate the regional debut, new registered users receive 15 Green Points (worth ₱15) applicable toward ride discounts.
Green SM global CEO Pham Nhat Minh Hoang said, “Expanding into northern Mindanao enables Green GSM to increase our service coverage in a region with strong potential, while giving more residents access to electric mobility with consistent service quality and reasonable costs. We will continue to develop our network and work with local partners to build a scalable electric transportation model that can create long-term value for the Philippines.”
Green SM European pilot

Across the globe, Green SM held a technical opening in the Netherlands on Sept. 25, marking its 8th market globally and its second in Europe following Denmark.
Operating initially in Amsterdam’s Centrum, West, and Zuid districts—with planned expansion into Oost, Noord, Nieuw-West, and Zuidoost—the pilot establishes operational benchmarks in one of Europe’s most advanced EV markets.

Driver opportunity: Under the “Skilled Drivers-Bigger Opportunities” banner, drivers can earn up to EUR 3,000 per month under direct contracts, or retain up to 85% revenue share under vehicle rental terms, supported by a joining bonus of up to EUR 600.
Introductory fares: Dutch commuters receive 50% off trip fares (capped at EUR 30 per ride, valid for up to 10 trips per user).

Green SM Europe chief executive officer Richard Nabil Chahine remarked: “The Netherlands is an important next step in Green SM’s journey in Europe. At this stage, our priority is not simply to put the service into operation, but more importantly to build a strong foundation for a high-quality service, from selecting and supporting our driver network to ensuring a consistent customer experience. We look forward to listening to our customers, learning from the Dutch market and gradually building Green SM into a trusted electric mobility option, offering high-quality experiences at competitive prices.”
