Top-performing Honda Cars dealers recognized

The 2024 dealer conference hosted by Honda Cars Philippines Inc (HCPI) held last Feb. 21 at Okada Manila in Pasay City provided the ideal opportunity for HCPI to recognize dealers who excelled in sales and after-sales operations. This annual event also awards top-performing individual Honda personnel, with the hopes of motivating and inspiring all Honda employees to maintain their hard work and continuously improve to serve customers in the best way they can.

The 2024 Dealer of the Year award was given to Honda Cars Marcos Highway, clinching the top spot this year after placing 3rd in 2021 and 2nd in 2022. Coming in at 2nd and 3rd place, respectively, were Honda Cars Fairview and Honda Cars Alabang.

Furthermore, various additional awards for sales and after-sales were also given, such as: Sales achievers—Marcos Highway (Metro Manila) and Baliuag (provincial); for sales satisfaction performance—Manila (Metro Manila), Angeles-Clark (1st place, provincial), Cebu (2nd), and Mandaue (3rd); for service intake achievers (Metro Manila)—Marcos Highway (1st), Alabang (2nd), and Makati (3rd); for service intake achievers (provincial)—Pangasinan (1st), Cauayan (2nd), and Batangas (3rd); best in service satisfaction performance—Alabang (1st), Shaw (2nd), and Cagayan (3rd); top safety advocates—Pangasinan (1st), Bulacan (2nd), Nueva Ecija (3rd); aftersales operations—Marcos Highway and Batangas (tied for 1st), Fairview (2nd), Alabang (3rd).

The event also gave special recognition to Elijah Dave Villan of Honda Cars Makati, who represented the Philippines, Asia, and Oceania, and emerged champion of the 2023 Honda World Skills Contest (service advisor category in the Honda Asia and Oceania skills contest).

Recognizing everyone’s hard work, HCPI president Rie Miyake left the attendees of the 2024 dealer conference with an inspiring insight about Honda’s tagline, “The Power of Dreams.”

“The future mobility Honda dreams of will create a joy and freedom of mobility that enables people to transcend the constraints of time and place and augment their every possibility. Such mobility will become the ‘power’ for people who are trying to advance towards their own dreams. Dreams that will move even more people, until there is an endless expanse of new dreams. Through the creation of (the) mobility we dream of, Honda will become ‘The Power of Dreams’ of more and more people. That is how we will move people and society forward.”
