Ford’s Limited-Edition Ranger Sport+, Everest Titanium+ 4×4
Ford Philippines announced the release of two limited-edition 4×4 variants for its core truck and SUV lineups—the Ford Ranger Sport+ 4×4 and the Ford Everest Titanium+ 4×4 with powerside steps—offering additional factory aesthetic and functional upgrades for domestic buyers.
Specs and promotional pricing
o Ford Ranger Sport+ 4×4 (Starting at P1,999,000): Features a black sport bar, matte black fender flares, and an iconic FORD front grille. Powered by a 2.0L Turbo Diesel engine delivering 170 PS and 405 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission with an Electronic Locking Rear Differential. Available in Absolute Black, Arctic White, and Meteor Gray, with July cash savings reaching up to P380,000 on select colors.
o Ford Everest Titanium+ 4×4 with Power Side Steps (Starting at P2,640,000): Integrates automatically deploying power side steps (similar to the flagship Expedition) that extend when doors open to facilitate passenger entry and exit. Driven by a 2.0L Bi-Turbo Diesel engine generating 210 PS and 500 Nm of torque via a 10-speed automatic transmission with an E-Shifter and 6 selectable drive modes. Offered in Aluminum Metallic and Meteor Gray, supported by July cash discounts up to P170,000.
Both limited-edition offerings include Ford’s standard 5-year warranty and complete access to after-sales conveniences like online service booking, mobile service vehicles, and pickup and delivery services.

Toyota starts retail sales of 9th-gen Hilux, 4×4 BEV variant
Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) officially commenced nationwide retail sales for the 9th-generation Toyota Hilux, featuring a redesigned “Cyber Sumo” exterior styling, upgraded diesel engines, and the nameplate’s first-ever 4×4 battery-electric vehicle (BEV) variant.
Design, powertrain, and chassis engineering
o Cyber Sumo aesthetics: Incorporates C-shaped LED headlamps integrated into a wider honeycomb grille, a redesigned rear end with a deck-side access step, and model-specific cues. The Conquest variant features an overlanding-inspired front bumper, while the Hilux BEV adopts an enclosed, aerodynamic front grille.
o Diesel Powertrain (ICE lineup): Powered by Toyota’s 2.8-liter 1GD-FTV Variable Nozzle Turbo diesel engine, producing 204 PS and up to 500 Nm of torque (420 Nm on manual variants). Higher grades feature electric power steering (EPS), a 12.3-inch display audio system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, and Multi-Terrain Select.
o Hilux 4×4 BEV variant: Built on a reinforced electric ladder-frame chassis with high-voltage battery protection, ground clearance reaching 287 mm, and a dual-motor electric AWD drivetrain outputting 196 PS (200 Nm front/269 Nm rear). Energy is supplied by a 59.2-kWh lithium-ion battery delivering up to 315 km of range (NEDC).
o Charging infrastructure support: The Hilux BEV includes a complimentary AC home wall charger with installation support, CCS2 DC fast charging compatibility, and nationwide charging station access across authorized TMP BEV dealers.
